Los Angeles Tamil Sangam (LATS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, primarily for engaging and bringing the Tamil community together for cultural, social, and charitable events. Our core idea is to preserve and expose the value of the Tamil language and heritage to the younger generations.

Vannakam! We are gearing up to celebrate 2025 Deepavali Festival. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet and greet our community friends and families at Los Angeles.
Cultural event for kids and adults is planned. Please contact us with your program details (dance, drama, music etc) to participate.
We also need volunteers to help with Photo Booth, Arcade games, cultural session and serving food.

பண்பாடு என்பது வாழ்வியல் பண்புகளின் முழு வடிவம். அந்த வாழ்வியல் பண்புகளை அகம் புறம் என்று பிறித்து எக்காலத்துக்கும் ஏற்றவாறு எடுத்துரைத்தவர்கள் நம் முன்னோர்கள். சான்றுகளுக்கு குறையில்லை. இலக்கியங்கள், வரலாற்று பதிவுகள், அறநூல்கள் அனைத்திலும் கொட்டிக்கிடக்கின்றன. அவற்றுள், இன்றும் உலகத்தார் வியந்து பார்க்கும் தமிழர் புறவாழ்வு குறித்த பாடல் தான் கணியன் பூங்குன்றனார் எழுதிய 'யாதும் ஊரே யாவரும் கேளீர்' என்ற புறநானூற்றுப் பாடல். இதுமட்டுமா! இன்னும் பல உண்டு.
